Aiguardent

The first one.

Sinopsis

Aiguardent is Marta Carrasco’s first solo work. It is a journey into human solitude, ruled by anger and innocence. It shows the double life of a lonely •oman on the edge of the abyss who finds refuge in alcohol tor her anxieties. Fragility and weakness lead the character in Aiguardent to excesses that are diametrically opposed.

Intimate x-ray of a woman

The success of public and criticism that recently obtained the presentations of Aiguardent has motivated that the work goes back again to Sala Becket. Aiguardent shows the state of a woman who lives breathes and dreams in the solitude and privacy of a room. The protagonist, a vulnerable being who at times feels losing, goes through a succession of moods caused by moments of tenderness, anger, and violence. A beautiful and intimate show that comes from the encounter of three artistic talents.

Marta Carrasco inebriate audiences with Aiguardent

Challenges in Sitges:
Dance for an hour alone and get the audience inebriate with the dance. This is the marvel of the senses offered by Marta Carrasco with her Aiguardent choreography.

With an impressive physical presence, Marta Carrasco, she drags the public to an image dance for an hour. A work that traps the viewer by the many faces and bodies that the dancer adopts; from girl to woman for mutilating a song of the ineffable.

Intoxicating.

Aiguardent is a gift for the senses, an hour full of intensity, emotion, that taste that distill a few shows and that is difficult to define.
